Crye-Leike, REATORS Names Sales Veteran To Managing Broker Post

Realtor Rick Ramick Takes The Helm Of Crye-Leike Hot Springs Looking To Ramp-Up Agent Recruitment & Marketing In 2010

Crye-Leike, REALTORS has named Realtor Rick Ramick to the Managing Broker post at the company’s Hot Springs office located at 1420 Central Avenue. He will take the helm of a branch that for many years was under the leadership of Broker Bob Benscoter – who is transitioning into a new role with the company as Assistant Manager and Recruiter.

The transfer of power at Crye-Leike comes as a result of Benscoter’s desire to pursue more personal sales – while still being involved in the growth of the office.

“This change from overseeing the day to day operations of our office to the role of an assistant manager is an exciting opportunity for me,” said Benscoter. “I look forward to our continued success and assisting Rick in making our office not only the best but also the biggest in Hot Springs.”

Ramick is a veteran of sales and what he calls the ‘old school’ strategy of knocking on doors to generate business. He says many in real estate still adhere to that method to reach new clients. For Ramick though – he considers those days over and believes technology and marketing are the true tools to implement for real success.

“To be honest, I had not considered Crye-leike until the ‘Spring of 2008’ when I began researching the company and had the pleasure of meeting Cofounder and CEO Harold Crye,” said Ramick. “I was not only impressed with the growth and dominance of the company – but how they had accomplished it.”

Through technology and marketing Ramick saw how the company grew – becoming the #1 real estate firm in Arkansas in gross sales volume and homes sold.

“With the right tools – a real estate agent who has seen their business level off can realize a jolt of activity by incorporating new methods of prospecting, marketing, listing and selling property,” said Ramick. “Crye-Leike is the perfect company with the opportunity for agents to rejuvenate their careers.”

In addition to focusing on recruiting new agents, Ramick also plans to increase Crye-Leike Hot Springs’ community involvement. He says participating in United Way, Cans for Kids, Special Olympics and more is essential for a sales team with a mission of building great neighborhoods and communities.

“My goal for 2010 is to increase the presence of Crye-leike in Hot Springs,” said Ramick. “The challenge will be identifying new agents willing to take the next step with us in the age of technology to expand their horizons and business.”
